In 1993 I lived in New Orleans and sold my art on the fence on Royal St. directly behind St. Louis Cathedral. I discovered the wonderful world of saints and have been hooked every since. I moved back to my homeland, L.A., in 2004 and developed The Painted Word, a series inspired by the many farmer's markets that I've come to love. I also developed a series of sand candles that I sold on the Venice boardwalk. On a trip to Spain I was hospitalized. No one spoke english, so to entertain myself I did a series of blue drawings inspired by Picasso's The Blue Period.
